The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has officially unveiled the fixtures and broadcast details for the second season of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) — Nepal’s biggest cricket franchise tournament. The new season is set to begin on November 17 and will run until December 13, 2025, with all matches taking place at the historic Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground (TU Ground), Kirtipur.

Floodlights and Stadium Upgrade 

This year’s edition will be historic for Nepali cricket, as the TU Cricket Ground will host night matches under floodlights for the first time ever. The venue has undergone major renovations, now featuring a seating capacity of 13,000 spectators and modern floodlight facilities — a massive step forward for cricket infrastructure in Nepal.

The upgrades caused a short delay in fixture announcements, but the improved experience will now allow both day and night matches throughout the competition.
